Members of the Sesquicentennial Honorary and Steering Committees are appointed by the president.

Members of the Honorary Committee consist of local, state, and national luminaries who lend their name to help establish credibility, and speak on behalf of the college with potential business partners and community leaders to augment our fundraising campaign. .

The Steering Committee is broad-based, inclusive, and diverse and includes people of influence. Areas represented include alumni, friends and supporters, faculty, staff and students. The Committee is charged with the responsibility of providing vision and oversight for the planning, developing, and coordinating Sesquicentennial Celebration activities and events. The Steering Committee consists of five sub-committees: Events and Special Projects; Communications and Marketing; Archives and History; Alumni and Community Engagement and Fundraising.
